There is high school Saturday Academy today from 9 am to 4 pm in the CTE building. This is an important time to make up work and absences as prom is coming up and all students must be eligible to attend. We are here to help your child!

Spring Concert Details:
• Date: April 8, 2024, Monday
• Time: 4th Grade 6pm, 5th Grade 6:30pm and 6th Grade 7pm
• Location: Edwin Loe Gymnasium
Student Arrival Time: We kindly request that students arrive at the school 30 minutes before the scheduled performance time. This will allow for necessary preparations and ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Student Attire: To create a cohesive and festive atmosphere, we suggest the following attire for our young performers:
• 4th Grade: Cowboy Attire (plaid or jeans for top and bottom jeans any color)
• 5th Grade: Top: Yellow color Bottom: Dark pants or dark jeans
• 6th Grade: Top: Blue color Bottom: Black pants
Please note that we will be having school on April 29th to make up for the missed hours of school due to late starts. Let's hope we don't have any more late starts. :-)

New Town Middle School and High School present a Winter Concert on March 6, 2024 at 6:00 pm in the NTHS Auditorium. This concert will be featuring the MS/HS Chorus and Guitar students.

NEW TOWN ANNUAL SCHOOL ELECTION
One three-year position on the New Town School Board is to be filled at the Annual School Election June 11, 2024. Member whose three-year term expires is Marietta Heart, who represents the City Area #2.
Monday, April 8, 2024, at 4:00 p.m., is the deadline for filing for candidates who wish to have their names appear on the ballot in the June 11, 2024 school election. Candidates must be resident voters of the area designated. Those who wish to have their name appear on the ballot as candidates may pick up forms at the school business office in the High School/Middle School building. Candidates will also have to file a Statement of Interests form which is also available at the school business office.
The election will be held June 11, 2024, with the balloting for candidates limited to voters residing in the City Area #2 area.
CITY AREA #2 is the area: east of East Avenue from 2nd Street to 5th Street, north side of 5th Street from East Avenue to East Central Avenue, including Northern Lights residents east of East Avenue, all City area north of Eagle Drive from East Avenue to College Drive, and includes the Breslin East Addition east of East Avenue, Rainbow Housing and Hillview Housing.

Let the senior class help you with dinner tonight! We are having a pasta plate dinner this evening at the concession stand during the boy's basketball game. For only $10, you can get some pasta bake (with or without meat), salad, dessert and a drink. We have to-go boxes available. Thank you in advance for supporting the Class of 2024.
Please note that high school track and field practice will begin on Monday, February 26 at 4:00 pm. Please meet in the high school gym entrance on the west side of the school.
Twenty-eight middle school students traveled to Minot on February 21, 2024 for the Native American Science Fair. Every single student received an award. Shout out to the hard-work of all the students and their teacher, Ms. Sheena Suello. Proud day to be an Eagle!
