NEW TOWN PUBLIC SCHOOLS

New Town Middle School will be adding 2 additional days of after school ICU and math tutoring. This will add extra opportunities for students to make up missing work and keep their absences in check! ICU tutoring will be every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday for the remainder of the school year from 4pm-6pm. Please encourage your student to stay and get some work finished!

Join us at our Spring Music Concert Thursday, May 18! Students arrive by 5:30. Dress nice. Concerts are a big part of your final grade.

Congratulations to Angel Lockwood (8th grade) and Christian Sison (9th grade) for star performances at the region music competition and for excellent ratings at the state level this Saturday!

New Town High School will be extending their tutoring hours until 8 pm starting next week, May 8th. There will be 2 teachers available to assist high school students in getting their grades up and their hours down. If you have any questions, please contact the high school office.

Summer school for the high school will be held from 9 am to 4 pm daily beginning June 5th. There are sign up sheets in the high school for students to enroll.

School will dismiss at 3:00 pm the LAST week of school May 22-26. Summer is coming!

Edwin Loe is having a movie night for 4th-6th grade! (Kinder-3rd grade had a movie night in March) Movie night will be this Friday April 28th from 6:00pm-7:30pm. The gym will be open to play basketball, a technology/electronic room will be open, and a movie will be showing. Each student will get a pizza, popcorn, and a pop. This is a great way to get buybacks for attendance as well.

Friendly reminder of the Edwin Loe Elementary School Open House with Parent Teacher Conferences are tonight at 4:00-7:00pm The community is invited to attend. We look forward to seeing you at our open house. Booth will be there from local organizations: Mountrail County Health, Missing & Exploited Indigenous People Program, Diabetes Program, Behavioral Health, Fire Department, Head Start, Local Law Enforcement. We will include parent/teacher conferences and give you the opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher. A meal will also be served in the cafeteria.

Auditions for Missoula Children’s Theater will be on Monday, May 1st at 4:00 to 6:00 pm in the Elementary School Gym for student’s 1st to 12th grade. Your child may need to stay from 6:15-8:15 May 1st depending on their role. A letter will be sent home with your child that night letting you know the times and dates that they will need to be at rehearsal. Rehearsal time run from 4:00 to 6:00 pm and 6:15 to 8:15 pm. Please send your child with snacks to be eaten during breaks in rehearsal times. Performances will be May 5th at 2:00 pm and 6:00pm. Please Park at gym door 2 to enter. If you have questions, please call Ms. Dana at 701-627-3718. If your child cannot commit to every rehearsal and both performances, please think carefully about them trying out.
