The New town School Board met on Oct. 13, 2020 and considered the most up to date information regarding CoVID-19. We will be continuing our soft opening which includes in-person learning for students requiring Special Education Services, Alternative Students and Students who require tutoring. We will not be opening campus on October 19 for general in-person learning. The board will be reviewing the pandemic situation again on October 27. New Town Families,
The New Town School Board met last evening. The board voted to postpone the start of school until Oct. 19. This was an extremely hard decision; we all desperately want to return to in-person learning. However, at this time, the board feels the risks outweigh the benefits. Please know that our board is carefully considering all the information available and doing their very best to serve our kids during this difficult time. Thank you for your ongoing patience and partnership. Superintendent Zietz
