The NTHS/MS has been cleared from the lockdown. At 10:35 am this morning, law enforcement received an anonymous 911 call that trigged a threat to the safety of staff and students. The building was immediately put on lockdown and law enforcement responded. Once the hallways were cleared, the building was put on soft lockdown. At this time administration and law enforcement did a room by room search and collected all cell phones from students as the threat came from a cell phone on the school's wireless network. Please be assured that we need to respond to all threats that we receive for the safety of everyone. We would like to extend special thanks to the all the law enforcement agencies, city, county, and tribal that responded so quickly. We appreciate you!

The New Town high school and middle school is currently under lockdown due to a report of a possible threat. The elementary is under a soft lockdown as a precaution.
