All NTPS students were blessed with a guest speaker on November 26. Avery "Scotty" Hale, a 2015 graduate of NTHS came home to visit all students in grades k-12. He played Miles Martinez in the movie Rez Ball. What a treat it was for all! He had a positive message to share and he signed autographs. It’s always good to see our former students succeed! Thank you, Scotty!

The drama team scored 5th place today at the 1st round of the State Class B One Act Play Contest. The 4th place team beat them by only one point. They needed at least 4th place to move on. HOWEVER, they are not coming home empty handed as Aleece Meek received a state superior actor award!

This is a friendly reminder that there will be NO School on November 27-29, 2024 for Thanksgiving Break. School will resume on Monday, December 2. Enjoy the time off with your family and friends!

We are so excited to welcome Rez Ball actor Avery "Scotty" Hale on Tuesday, November 26th at New Town High School! Avery Hale is Mandan, Hidatsa, Arikara, Apache and Pueblo. Besides acting, Avery is passionate about making sure Indigenous cultures are represented in movies and TV shows. He also works hard to support education and cultural projects in his community, making him not just a great actor, but also a role model for young people everywhere. Welcome home Scotty!

Spring /Fall Athletic Awards 2024 and Winter Athlete/Coaches Meeting December 4, 2024 in the NTHS Cafeteria at 6:00 pm This is for letter winners during the Spring and Fall 2024 athletic seasons. It will include Softball, Track/Field, Boys' and Girls' Golf, Football, Cross Country, Volleyball, and Drama. A meal will be provided!

The gym, technology room, and an art room will be open as well for extra fun! Each student will get a slice of pizza, a bag of popcorn, and a pop! This is a great way to get buy backs for attendance as well.
